Spaulding Decon was born from a desire to help families in need. While serving as a police officer in Kansas City, Laura Spaulding witnessed the devastation caused by crime. The already grieving families were shocked to discover that the police were not responsible for cleaning up the scene. At that moment, Laura decided to work with the family herself to get their home cleaned up.
For the first year, Laura was a one-woman operation. In 2006 she hired her first employees and expanded into more industries, including drug lab and hoarding cleanup.
In 2016 Spaulding Decon moved into a franchise model, becoming the first nationally franchised decontamination service to offer crime scene, hoarding, and meth-lab cleanup throughout the United States.
